The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features, including the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your entire home gets a proper look.

This robot vacuum performs well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's a challenge with plush or high-pile carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an advanced filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a problem for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is also bigger than those on many of its rivals and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than the high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on when it encounters one.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical garbage into the hidden bin and also washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, the water tank being empty or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleared out frequently, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, removing dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also has additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of just following a specific route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does a thorough job. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots at this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes, The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the app's settings menu where you can tweak the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
