Her full line of artisan-made leather bags, footwear and stylish storage baskets for the home alter perceptions of Africa.

Nordstrom's flagship store in New York City will be hosting an in-store market that will feature eight Black-owned businesses beginning February 14 through March 6. While a lot of luxury brands focus on promoting their European heritage, Anima Iris centers African history and culture in its designs. The company donates a portion of its profits to women of color, as well as selling fashionable bags.
