Window Sash Repairs

The sash is the internal framing that can be moved vertically upwards or downwards in windows that are open. This article will show you how to perform simple sash repairs.

Weather Stripping

Wood window sashes provide the classic look to your home and, when properly maintained, can last for years. They can, however, be damaged or degraded over time, due to exposure and normal wear and tear. Thankfully, sash repair experts can restore your windows back to their original condition and keep them looking fantastic for longer than replacement windows.

Weather stripping is the first issue to take care of when fixing windows with sash. It's on both the frame and the sash. If it's worn or loose, out, it can cause drafts and other issues.
