She also refuses to ride on the side saddle and shoots enemies (despite it being a hazardous job). While Avon is a little discomfitted by her rebellious ways at first, Avon soon realizes she is a true love.

It was a little difficult to keep track of at first, as Heyer calls the Duke by various names in the first few pages. Once you have it sorted out, it becomes easier to read. This was a wonderful book and I strongly recommend it! If you're a fan Georgette Heyer or simply enjoy an enjoyable romance I'm sure you will not be disappointed!
