Graco's SnugRide is a great choice for most infants and can accommodate children as big as 35 pounds or 2 years old that's the limit for most infant car seats. The seat has received high scores in crash tests. This isn't surprising. It is lightweight and has easy-to-follow instructions. It also scores highly in our user-friendliness ratings, including the ease with which you can install the seat, adjust the harness and headrest, place a child in the seat, secure the harness, then remove a child from the seat.

The Graco SnugRide does not perform as well in some other categories, including quality and comfort. The fabric is a bit more plasticky and the padding is less durable than in other portable infant car seat car seats.
